You won't likely find a more dedicated handyman than George. He carefully laid out a plan to fix my barn door style doors on my shed. He clearly listed the materials and labor required in his estimate and completed the work in one day. He arrives on time and stays with it until the job is done. Give him a try-youwon't be disappointed.

We had George working on prearranged, accurately estimated jobs for 2 days. In addition to George being a good communicator, clear in his estimates, prompt, and very cordial...the quality of his work is superb. He also effectively communicates about what he is doing (with a particular task) and if there are decisions needed along the way. His pricing is fair and we look forward to hiring him again!

George is amazing. He was prompt, prepared, and had the tools needed to execute an intervention to repair broken drawer hardware. Replacement of the actual hardware was not possible but he applied his expertise to create a suitable substitute. It is now a few weeks out and the drawer still works perfectly. I couldn’t be more grateful to him for solving the problem in one evening , a few days before a party I was hosting. He’s a super nice guy as well and was a pleasure to work with. Cheers to George!

George spent a long day at my house going through each item on the list and knocking them out. He fixed our fence gate, installed a flood light, a eufy (ring competitor), fixed a knob and latch, and tackled a screen porch door that was flimsy and not shutting and made it solid and close. We are enjoying all our doors and new security and I would definitely hire him again.

I come to visit NC every year, and it seems that every time I arrive, I have repairs to be done to my Motorhome and George has done a super job fixing everything that I managed to mess up. He is very conscientious and proud of his workmanship, and the end product shows it.

George is as thorough and honest as they come. He does such amazing work, but he's also up-front with you if there is something he can't do or can't do to the standard he sets for himself. George has done several projects for me around the house from helping me put running boards on my truck, install new thermostats, and set up my Ring devices. I highly recommend him and feel free to reach out if you have questions.

George is an excellent thorough handyman. When he does a job, you can rest assured that it will be done exactly correct. I had him do many things around my house that I am pleased to have done. He also undertook putting new leather replacements on my car door and Console. They look brand new! He is thorough, honest effective and comes when he says he will I highly recommend him.

I contacted George of Robust Handyman Services based on Nextdoor recommendations (all were so favorable). My initial reaction was positive as George responded promptly and communication was excellent. He arrived on time, was professional, courteous, assessed the work and explained what was needed, asked if I had any questions, and got to work; his work was calculated, determined, efficient, and he occasionally explained slight variations and the reasoning for. I added on an additional problem as we were finishing up and he quickly figured out what the issue was and resolved it. George's work was impeccable and thorough, and I would highly recommend his work.

Showed up on time and went to work right away. He installed two retractable baby gates and had to modify the attachments to work with our two doors/door frames/walls that didn't give him much room to attach the gates (both doors were in the corner of a hallway). He had all the tools he needed to make it work. I would definitely call Robust Handyman Services for future handyman work around the house.

We came across Robust handyman George's great reviews on next door. When we faced a problem regarding one of our windows, we approached a couple of companies and all of them suggested that it should be replaced. As we called Robust handyman, Mr George agreed to come and and take a look. He came with his wife, punctual, communicated clearly and started the work. He has a great set of tools going along with him, thinks outside the box, completed an amazing job which saved us from replacing the whole window. Highly skilled, with professional approach and fair pricing. I would recommend him for and type of handy man work.

George is a joy to work with. He's very thorough in the work he does. He's also thoughtful about how to do the work, offering options when appropriate. I had ten manual crawlspace vents replaced with automatic vents, replaced the dryer vent hose in the crawlspace (adding brackets to support it), repaired a hinge on the crawlspace door, replaced the weatherstripping around one exterior door and adjusted the weatherstripping on another door, replaced several floodlight bulbs. George discovered that one of the floodlight fixtures was no longer working and replaced that fixture. All work was well done and I would highly recommend George.

George’s handyman services are robust indeed! He has so many different skills I couldn’t list them all here.
I initially hired him to prop up a sagging base to my kitchen sink and fix a couple of windows that were hard to open and close. He did a great job and I showed him a number of other projects I thought I’d need to hire separate people for.
He ended up installing ceiling fans and light fixtures, replacing torn window screens, fixing leaky faucets, refinishing and painting my porch and steps, planing several doors, replacing old seals on outside doors, and numerous other tasks. He has high standards and makes sure each task is done very well.
He’s honest and told me when a project would cost more than it was worth, saving me time and money. He is diligent and makes sure he finishes what he starts, and communicates well about his schedule.
In short, he excels at his work and is committed to customer satisfaction. I can’t recommend him highly enough! Give him a call to get a quote on your projects. You’ll be glad you did.

A++ experience. He helped us to figure out a solution to fix an old bathroom fan, going above and beyond expectations. Very helpful in explaining things and making sure we understood the problem and options for proceeding with a fix. Wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again for any home project.

George did an outstanding job with several projects at my home. He built beautiful built‑in bookshelves with excellent craftsmanship, installed a hanging swing with great care to ensure it was safe, and also completed latticework around my shed, some painting, and lock repairs. His communication was excellent throughout, and his attention to detail was meticulous in every task. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I ordered running boards for my truck that described themselves as easy to install on my own. Once I got them, realized it was not as easy as mentioned (other reviewers mentioned the same thing) I reached out to George. I worked with George to set up a convenient time for both of us to meet. He quickly realized that the parts were mislabeled and determined the correct place each was to go.
George worked diligently to get the task done and it came out wonderfully. He had shown me the research he put into it, watching the videos others had made and the problems they'd had. He definitely goes the extra mile to make sure everything is done correctly and well. I will definitely be working with George again!

Hung various window and door blinds
Installed bathroom towel rails and shower curtain rods
Hung wall mirrors
Packed and moved several items from one house to another

George is an exceptional handyman with a wide range of knowledge and skills. I’d select all five of the above if the system allowed.
I thought I’d need to hire two or three people for the work he did. He fixed everything from wood steps to window screens, stained my porch floor, replaced trim around doors, fixed hinges, installed and repaired light fixtures, replaced drain spouts, and so many other things.
He is professional and thorough and leaves everything immaculate. Above all, he is honest and told me when a couple of things would cost more to fix than they were worth.
I highly recommend George for anything you need done. He will do it well, promptly and communicate during the process. He also has a great sense of humor which always helps!
